Grand Theft Auto: Vice City® is a 3rd-person action-adventure game by Rockstar Games. You play as an Italian gangster Tommy Vercetti, who came to Vice City to make a dirty drug deal, but he got busted. Your mission is to bring back the debt and become a respected mafiozi. You can download Grand Theft Auto: Vice City® for Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City® game was a breakthrough title in 2002. Today, it would be unfair to judge it with modern standards. As a classic title, it looks very authentic. The bright oceanic city terrain mimics Miami of 1986 so that you can feel the atmosphere of movies like Scarface. Some recognizable locations were borrowed from this picture.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City® gameplay is typical for the GTA series. You have to ride various vehicles, shoot from light and heavy guns, explore the open world, and complete missions to progress. Similarly to the previous chapter, this game requires you to pass quests in a non-linear manner. The whole map is divided into 2 islands, and the only way to visit them is to complete objectives.
The fighting system allows you to use melee attacks, pistols, sub-machine guns, a flamethrower, sniper rifles, and RPG, and a Minigun. You can shoot while running, and driving. There are multiple sports cars, jeeps, roadsters. Special purpose vehicles, such as taxi, ambulance, fire truck, police, and an ice-cream van can be used to earn some money in quests.
Tommy soon finds out that he is a talented leader. It allows you to start making bigger deals and buy business property, such as night clubs, a taxi company, and a film-making studio. Your main purpose is to own all businesses and property and eliminate enemy gangs to become the new crime king.
This title has very simple controls. You have to run using the left stick or WASD, aim with the right stick or a mouse, and shoot with the assigned button. Driving is also uncomplicated. The handling not as realistic as in GTA V, but very responsive though. Every vehicle has individual speed and handling characteristics.

You can complete the full game in about 6 hours. However, you will surely spend much more time exploring the city to find all hidden locations, unique weapons, and bonuses. All mission and characters are so well-written that it’s incredibly exciting to pass the game several times.
It’s a pity to end this Grand Theft Auto: Vice City® review, as it’s an outstanding title. In 2002 it set the sales record on PS2, reaching the 17,5 million mark. You still can purchase this legendary title and enjoy playing for a cruel mafiozi who is ready to do anything to achieve criminal domination.
