Island Tribe Review: Relaxing RPG Time Killer
Island Tribe is a 2D role-playing game with elements of farming simulation and survival. In this game, you have to play as an ordinary tribesman who has to help his little island nation to survive after the severe volcano eruption. You can download Island Tribe exclusively for your Windows PC. Build, craft, and fight for life to save the tribe.
Island Tribe game graphic framework allowed developers to design a cute 2D terrain. Everything consists of vector shapes, so the game looks sharp on all screen sizes. On the other side, the quality of detalization and effects the same as in any mobile or browser RPG.
Island Tribe gameplay consists of 30 levels that bring in different challenges and levels of difficulty. All your dwellings and many fellow tribesmen were killed by the severe volcano eruption. So now, your primary mission is to lead your tribe through several parts of the island to reach the safe ground near the ocean.
On every level, you have to clear paths from volcanic stones, build temporary farms to plant crops and feed your people. You also have to collect resources to repair bridges, extract water, drive away bears or goats, collect stones for building, etc. All your current objectives are displayed in the top right corner.
All actions are quite simple. You aren’t required to perform complicated crafting tasks like you are in Terraria or Minecraft. Just collect resources, repair stuff, deal with wild animals, feed your people, and fight natural disasters. All your feats bring you rewards, perks, and power-ups. You can check out the collected achievements in the main menu.
This title is a point-and-click RPG. It means that you have to use only a mouse to perform all actions. It’s rather sad that developers haven’t ported the game to touchscreen devices yet. Island Tribe system requirements are low, so it could be a perfect free to play mobile project with seasonal events and multiplayer competitions and co-op.
